Astrology gifts: a personal report for birthdays and Christmas

A personal report makes a good gift when you know what the person is curious about and you have their birth details. Choose it by the moment in their life: a birth chart for a first look, a compatibility report for a couple, a Saturn return report for someone turning 29, a child's chart for new parents. Why a personal report works as a gift

A report is calculated from one person's own birth moment, so no two are the same. It is also something to talk about. People read a chapter, recognise themselves in one line, disagree with another and want to tell someone.

Most people come to astrology out of curiosity. In a survey that the Pew Research Center published in 2025, about three in ten adults in the United States said they consult astrology, tarot cards or a fortune teller at least once a year. Most of them said they do it mainly for fun. Only a small share said they rely on it for big decisions. Someone turning 29 or 30

Around age 29, Saturn returns to the place it held at birth. Astrologers call it the Saturn return and read it as a time of review. The Saturn return report gives the exact dates of that person's return and practical steps for work, relationships and home. Someone starting a new job

Christmas and the New Year

Gifts about the year ahead fit this season well. The 12-month forecast covers the 12 months from the day you order, with the solar return of the next birthday and the year's transits month by month. Some reports are short and simple, and they fit well with a card or as a small extra:

For numerology, use the full name as it appears on the birth certificate. It may differ from the name the person uses today, for example after marriage.

How to get the details without spoiling the surprise

The date of birth is usually easy. The place is usually easy too: the town or city of birth is enough. The birth time is the hard part.

• Ask someone close. A parent, a sibling or a partner may know the time or know where to find it. Ask them to keep the secret.
• Look for papers. A baby book, a birth announcement or a hospital record often shows the time.
• Check the birth certificate. This depends on the country. In Scotland, every birth entry records the time of birth. In England and Wales, a time usually appears only for twins, triplets and other multiple births.

If you cannot find the time, do not guess. An invented time gives a chart that looks exact but is wrong. You have two good options instead. Choose a report that needs only the date, or order the birth chart anyway. Without a time, the chart is calculated for noon: the rising sign and houses cannot be set, the Moon may be slightly off, and the report marks which parts depend on the time.

What helps. If you have to ask about the birth time, ask early, weeks before the occasion. The question is soon forgotten, and the surprise stays a surprise.

3. Under Delivery, enter your own email and choose the report language. Reports are available in 32 languages, from English and Spanish to Japanese and Hindi, which helps if the recipient reads a different language from you.
4. Tick This is a gift. Enter the recipient's email and a message to the recipient.
5. Pay. The PDF is sent to the recipient within 24 hours of payment, together with your message. You get an email when the gift has been delivered.

Because the report arrives within 24 hours of payment, it may come a little before the day you have in mind. If the timing matters, leave the gift box unticked. The PDF then comes to your own email, and you can forward it or print it on the day.

The birth details you enter are used only to prepare and send the report. They are never sold or shared.
